Our day in Sonoma will be a treat for all! It includes a visit to the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art and then a rare opportunity to visit the home and studio of an artist who is living his dream life in a home of his own making… although the way it came about is a story unto itself.

We’ll start at the SVMA and then enjoy a walk on the historic plaza to visit a local gallery and enjoy lunch at a local bistro.

Then we’ll go up-valley to visit the private home and studio of artist Douglas Fenn Wilson. ‘The Moon House’ is a gem of artistic ingenuity. The artist’s work involves painting, sculpture and architectural detail in an extraordinary combination of techniques in which he bridges opposing styles and artistic traditions.
